Mach Aero International was founded as a minority organization in 1991 by its Native American Principal with Corporate Headquarters located in Broken Arrow, OK, only 20 minutes from Tulsa International Airport with associate offices in France, Germany, and United Kingdom. This centralized location provides distribution capabilities for total U.S. and European coverage. Products are sold through long standing customer relationships, distributors and direct-response marketing. Mach Aero International is constantly developing new markets and customers through personal contact and developing a full support relationship with each customer.
In 1992 Mach Aero International was developed to provide rebuilding services for military jets for the private sector. Types of aircraft rebuilt were Northrop T-38 Talon, Northrop F-5 and BAE Harrier. Aircraft were reassembled and modified to meet the Military Technical Orders for airworthiness. The market of researching parts for these projects opened up a new area of sales to foreign military in the support of the same type aircraft. Developing from that point the Corporate and Commercial markets; Thus the market of aircraft components sales became an additional source of revenue for Mach Aero International.
The market of commercial aircraft components is ever increasing. With current inventories, which include Boeing 737, 747, Douglas DC9 and Lockheed L1011 spares Mach Aero has experience phenomenal growth. Expansion efforts include the specialty crews that perform on-site inspections, consulting, and along with the on-site aircraft disassembly crews providing a wide range of expertise.
Mach Aero International's principal, Lee R. Snider, utilizing his Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technologies, Degree in Business Management, A&P license, commercial pilot certificates and 31 years of aviation management experience has developed and managed FAR 135 certificate operators as well as FAR 121 commuter certificate operators. The management of an excess of 35 aircraft under one certificate operating under Federal Aviation Regulations 135, and 121 Certification with aircraft based in 15 U.S. locations, 1 in Japan, and 1 in Europe. Mr. Snider was instrumental in the development of Bizjet International Gulfstream Service Center in a management and consulting capacity.
Through the development of Mach Aero International, Mr. Snider Utilized his aviation Maintenance background to establish a FAA 145 Repair station in Tulsa for Corporate Aircraft. The Repair Station is certified to perform maintenance out of their two- hanger facility on Gulfstream, Falcon, Challenger, Sabre, Citation, Lear and Jetstar aircraft. This Repair Center was closed in 2002 due to the leased facility was condemned by the city and later torn down.
Continuing with the Maintenance and the growth of the industry Mr. Snider was instrumental in the development of the Commercial Aircraft Repair Station located in San Antonio, TX. Along with his associate partner, Bernard Fourrier, the Repair Station (AeroSky LLC) is FAA approved and certified to perform major inspections (checks) on Boeing 727, 737, DC8, DC9, and MD80 aircraft.
Mach Aero International is working to continually develop alliances, which will continue the growth of the organization. Utilizing Mr. Snider extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and has used this knowledge to develop 135 Charter Certificate Manuals, and 145 Repair Station manuals, as recent as 2019 he developed the manuals for MRO Iberoamerica in Saltillo MX.
As the Accountable Manager and Operations Compliance Director was essentially the liaison to develop the manuals and procedures to approve MRO Iberoamerica as an approved Foreign FAA 145 Repair Station. Additional plans for the development of a 145 repair station expansion into Tijuana MX and Mexicali MX with FAA certification for both corporate and commercial capabilities Mach Aero International is expanding its Domestic and International footprint in the aviation industry.
Prior to Mach Aero International, Mr. Snider worked in Corporate Flight Departments as Director of Maintenance and Pilot.
